Sports Therapy

The sporting benefits of this technique and how we work with Elite sportspeople from all disciplines

“One way of defining energy is from physics: the ability to do work. When muscular efficiency is optimal, the expenditure of energy by the body in any activity – working, walking, running or whatever – is minimal. Hence there is more energy available for other vital functions such as thought, digestion, circulation, tissue maintenance, repair, defence against disease etc. Along with this greater efficiency comes a greater psychological ease and emotional security. The integrated body not only accomplishes a multitude of tasks, but it carries them out simultaneously, effortlessly, joyously.”

New Vision Therapists work with Elite sportspeople from all disciplines.

Our neurological and total body approach is a little different than other professionals, yet we compliment their work perfectly.

If the body is carrying unresolved traumas or injuries, these WILL result in musculoskeletal compensatory patterns. Ultimately that means four things.

  1. Reduced performance capacity

  2. More susceptibility to getting injured

  3. Will take longer for injuries to clear up

  4. Disruption in Mind/Body connection and harmony

Of course in a balanced body, we can flip that and you get major benefits.

  1. Enhanced performance

  2. Reduced risk of injury

  3. Injuries sustained will clear quicker

  4. A greater sense of Physical AND Emotional Well-Being

In short, many people find New Vision Therapy an indispensable tool as part of their Health and Fitness regime.
